RECOVAC didn't start in a boardroom, it started in a research facility, watching athletes push their bodies to the limit while struggling with recovery protocols that were either too expensive, too complicated, or simply didn't work.
Our Story
I'm Dr. Elias Weber, and for the past 4 years, I've dedicated my research to understanding one critical question: Why do some athletes recover faster than others?
During my PhD research in sports science and athletic recovery, I spent countless hours working directly with the athlete community, from weekend warriors to competitive performers. What I discovered frustrated me: the gap between what professional teams have access to and what everyday athletes can afford is massive.
Elite training facilities use cutting-edge recovery technology that costs thousands of dollars. Meanwhile, the vast majority of athletes are left with ice packs, hope, and chronic soreness that steals days from their training cycles.
That didn't sit right with me.
